Abstract

In Digital Communication era where the use of computing systems has become extremely widespread, the protection and privacy of information has become most essential. In order to maintain trust between communicating parties keep the private data secure from unauthorized access. For this sake, image steganography is used in which information is hidden inside the image. In the field of digital watermarking and barcode technology, image steganography when combined with 3D barcode helps in safely hiding data without paying more attention. This technique is beneficial but also has some limitations such as limited data capacity, risk detection, ethical and legal concerns, and need for scanning devices. In this paper we use modern algorithms such as Least Significant Bit technique and Discrete Wavelet Transform to overcome the problems of data security with the help of barcode. Overall, these methods increase the security, maintenance, and reliability of data.
